ATELIER TWY
THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE VOID
The Purity of Origin
Atelier Twy exists in the space between the raw and the refined. We work exclusively in .999 Fine Silver—metal in its most unadulterated state. Devoid of alloys, it carries a lunar depth and a tactile honesty that standard silver cannot replicate. It is a material that remembers the fire.
The Ancient Discipline
Our forms are born from the hammer, not the mold. Utilizing the primordial technique of Repoussé, we manipulate silver from within, displacing the metal across a bed of pitch to grow architectural volumes. This is a rhythmic, slow-form dialogue between the force of the strike and the resistance of the sheet.
The Illusion of Mass
The signature of the Atelier is the seamless hollow volume. Through meticulous soldering and refining, we unify hand-forged silver skins into singular, closed-cell artifacts. The result is a profound sensory paradox: pieces that possess the imposing visual weight of solid stone, yet carry the refined, breathable lightness of an air-filled shell.
Modern Artifacts
We do not polish away the history of a piece’s creation. We preserve the "controlled chaos" of the forge—the scars of the hammer and the heat—ensuring that every object is a raw, unrepeatable fragment of the workshop's spirit. Atelier Twy is wearable architecture for the unorthodox; modern artifacts designed to inhabit the body as much as they adorn it.
